Hayley Louisa Brown: Children of Graceland • Personal 2016 - 2025

Photographed by Hayley Louisa Brown, Children of Graceland is an ongoing documentary project exploring identity, family and contemporary Americana through the children of Elvis Presley fans gathering in Memphis, Tennessee. Photographed since 2016, the series offers an intimate portrait of a unique community, capturing moments of tenderness, self-expression and belonging against the backdrop of one of America's most enduring cultural icons.

The project has been exhibited internationally, including as part of Holy Pop! at Somerset House, and has also been presented in a solo exhibition supported by an Ace & Tate grant. A limited-edition zine accompanied the project, which has received recognition from publications including British Journal of Photography, Dazed, It's Nice That and AnOther.

Blending documentary photography with Hayley's instinct for cinematic storytelling, Children of Graceland reflects her ongoing interest in youth culture, music, identity and the communities that shape contemporary life.
