Hayley Louisa Brown is a British photographer and director recognised for distinctive, character-led portraiture across music, fashion and contemporary culture. Blending documentary intimacy with a refined, cinematic eye, she creates warm, natural images that reveal the individual character of every subject she photographs.
Having previously worked with GQ UK, Hayley brings a natural understanding of talent-led editorial—from considered studio portraiture to spontaneous, observed moments. As founder and Editor-at-Large of BRICK Magazine, she has spent more than a decade building trust with artists and documenting the people, movements and subcultures shaping culture now.
Her subjects include Pa Salieu, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams, Wu-Tang Clan, J. Cole, Vince Staples, Giggs, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Rita Ora, Pauline Chalamet, Kehlani and BIA. Her editorial and commissioned work includes GQ UK, W Magazine, Dazed, i-D, Sony Music and Nike. Her Children of Graceland series was also recently featured in HOLY POP!, Somerset House’s major summer 2026 exhibition exploring celebrity, devotion and contemporary culture.
Hayley is available for portrait, cover, editorial and moving-image commissions in the UK and internationally.
