Derrick Santini: In the Sea We Are Three • Project info +
'In the Sea We Are Three' forms part of Derrick Santini's exploration of memory, connection and the unseen forces that bind us together.
Photographed beneath the water's surface, the image captures three figures suspended in a world of shifting light and movement. Sunlight fractures through the water above, transforming the scene into something dreamlike and elemental, where bodies appear to drift between presence and disappearance.
Balancing documentary observation with a sense of wonder, the work invites reflection on family, belonging and our relationship with the natural world. Both intimate and expansive, it evokes a shared experience that feels at once deeply personal and universal.
