In Katie in the Sky of Bubbles, Derrick Santini uses lenticular photography to transform an everyday moment into something immersive and unexpected.
The image changes as the viewer moves, with colour, light and reflection continually revealing new possibilities. What appears simple at first glance becomes a shifting study of perception and wonder, where the bubble exists somewhere between object, memory and dream.
Playful yet contemplative, the work reflects Santini's fascination with movement, transformation and the space between what we see and what we think we see.
