Part of Derrick Santini's ongoing exploration of lenticular portraiture, Kyle examines the fluid nature of identity through a sequence of layered photographic states.
Photographed by Santini and styled by Kyle himself, the work transforms as the viewer moves, revealing shifts in expression, gesture, styling and persona. Rather than presenting identity as fixed, Kyle celebrates self-expression, individuality and the freedom to transform and reinvent.
Combining portraiture, movement and contemporary art, Kyle reflects Santini's distinctive approach to lenticular photography and his fascination with the space between one moment, identity and state and another.
